What do we do?
Nordic VMS provides health care practitioners with an easy access functional
medicine portal. Practitioners will be able to research, select and prescribe
vitamins, minerals and supplements for each patient’s individual needs. These
orders are then sent directly to the patient’s address.
Patients will be able to communicate directly with his or her health
practitioner, view all prescriptions before accepting, and view a history of all
prescriptions.
Our mission is to contribute with an administrative system, which will help
health care practitioners free up time and resources on day-to-day functions,
enabling them to focus on their patients. At the same time, supplying the
practitioner with knowledge based information necessary to keep up with the
latest; treatment protocols, abstracts, products and news updates. We want to
help provide the practitioner with tools to provide their patients with the
highest possible care.
Nordic VMS is a part of Nordic Group, which consists of Nordic Laboratories
and Nordic Clinic, based in Denmark and Simply Nature, based in the UK. We
provide services to customers in Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, Italy,
Holland, Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, Denmark and The UK. Nordic has years of

1 Functional medicine is a dynamic approach to assessing,
preventing, and treating complex chronic disease. Conventional medical treatment
looks for specific problems and treats those problems. Functional medicine looks
at the complex relationship between diet, lifestyle, human relationships,
environment, and genetic factors. The foundational principle of functional
medicine rests on the understanding that each human being is a unique genetic
organism in a unique environment and that a patient-centered medical system must
take this into account. To this end a combination of clinical laboratory
evaluations are used to determine biochemical deficiencies that can then be
supported by clinical intervention in the form of dietary changes, specific and
targeted vitamin supplementation and where necessary targeted pharmaceutical
interventions.
